A Journey That Became More Than Just a Trip
Some journeys are not just about travelling—they become memories that stay with you forever.
Our very first Mahakaleshwar & Omkareshwar Jyotirling Yatra from Delhi was one such journey on 9 July at around 10:00 PM our travelers gathered at Sai Mandir Shastri Nagar Delhi (110052) with excitement devotion, and smiles two travelers were ready luggage was loaded, families said goodbye and everyone was eager to begin this spiritual experience.
For GhumoAdda this was more than a tour it was our first step towards building a travel community where people don’t just visit destinations—they create lifelong memories together.
Departure from Delhi – The Beginning of a Divine Journey
Late at night, we started our journey from Delhi towards Ujjain.
The atmosphere inside the travellers was full of excitement. Some passengers chatted with each other, some listened to devotional songs, while others simply enjoyed the road trip. Since it was our first group departure, everyone in the GhumoAdda team was making sure every guest felt comfortable throughout the journey.
The overnight drive was smooth, and by the next morning, we had reached the holy city of Ujjain.
Arrival in Ujjain – A City Filled with Positive Energy
After reaching Ujjain, everyone freshened up and enjoyed breakfast before taking some rest.
Later, guests planned their visits according to their preferences.
Many travellers headed towards Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling
Others visited Shri Kal Bhairav Temple
Some preferred exploring Mahakal Lok and the nearby spiritual places.
One thing I personally experienced during this journey was the incredible atmosphere of Ujjain.
People often say,
After spending time there, I truly understood what they meant.
There was a unique peace in the city. Sitting near the temple felt calming, and it naturally made us want to spend more time in the presence of Lord Mahakal. It wasn’t just sightseeing—it was an experience that stayed in our hearts.
A Divine Experience at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling
Visiting Mahakaleshwar one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva is more than just a journey—it’s an experience that stays with you forever.
The moment thousands of devotees come together and chant “Har Har Mahadev”, the entire atmosphere feels powerful and peaceful at the same time it’s something you truly have to experience to understand.
The sound of temple bells the fragrance of incense and the unwavering faith of people arriving from every corner of the country create a spiritual energy that is unforgettable.
For many travellers in our group, this was a long-awaited dream. Watching them finally stand before Mahakal with smiles, gratitude and tears of joy made the journey even more special.
Journey to Omkareshwar Jyotirling
The next day, at around 12 PM, we left Ujjain for Omkareshwar Jyotirling.
After a beautiful drive, we reached Omkareshwar at around 4 PM.
One of the most memorable parts of this journey was crossing the river by boat before reaching the temple.
Even though it was Sunday and there was a huge crowd, nobody complained.
Faith gives people patience.
Everyone happily waited for their turn, and finally we had the opportunity to seek blessings at another sacred Jyotirling.
The peaceful surroundings, the Narmada River, and the temple together created an unforgettable spiritual experience.

Return Journey to Delhi
After completing our darshan and spending quality time together everyone rested at the hotel.
The next morning after breakfast we began our return journey to Delhi.
Our First GhumoAdda Trip Was a Success
This trip will always remain special for us because it was GhumoAdda’s very first group departure.
The biggest achievement wasn’t just completing the itinerary.
The biggest achievement was this:
- Every traveller returned safely.
- Everyone enjoyed the journey.
- There were no major issues during the trip.
- Every face carried a smile at the end.
For us, this is the true definition of a successful trip.
Although the trip was coming to an end the smiles on everyone’s faces showed that they were taking back much more than photographs.
They were taking back blessings memories and new friendships.
On the morning of 13 July we reached Delhi safely.
